SIGNINGS / APPEARANCES
Note from Rick:
"At the moment, we're between books at the Helms house. Cordite Wine came out almost two years ago, and I don't have a contract for one of the new books yet, so I'm not doing a lot of signings or speaking appearances for the time being.
I am appearing from time to time with a group of North Carolina/South Carolina authors who call themselves The Carolina Conspiracy. The next time I'm scheduled to be on one of their panels is at the Mountain Island Branch of the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, on May 3. I also plan to appear at Bouchercon in Baltimore this year, but beyond that I don't have a lot of plans.
As The Back Alley Webzine becomes more popular, I may do more conference appearances as a Publisher/Editor rather than as an author, especially if there are panels aimed toward the New Media (e-books, webzines, and ezines).
I am open to invitations from mystery reading groups, groups interested in New Media, groups exploring Print-On-Demand and self-publishing (mostly to tell them how NOT to do it), and those groups interested in how I mesh my interest in forensic psychology with writing of mysteries."
